The event was attended by civil servants, representatives of the intelligentsia, war veterans, schoolchildren. The evening was adorned with their creativity by the Gunda State Instrumental Ensemble and a number of singers-vocalists. Opening the evening, the director of the museum, Tvanba Marina, noted that the book is a vivid example of the national identity of the people and should be introduced for study by future generations. The event participants were also presented with a military video chronicle, excerpts from the history of Mahajirism and memories of military operations.

 “With my book, I tried to instill a small drop of love and patriotism in my homeland to my brothers and sisters reading my memories,” said Alper Bganba. The book of our compatriot was written in Turkish, the translation into the Abkhaz language was carried out by the statesman Oktay Chkotua. Such heroes as Alper Bganba can do much more for our republic, noted the participants of the event. Today, Alper Bganba works in the administration of the Gulripsh district in the department for relations with compatriots.
