The head of the social - adaptation department Alyas Nanba stressed that the assistance was sent to the poor families and single mothers, regardless of religious affiliation. Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı has been helping low-income families for several years, earlier last year the employees of the social department have already implemented similar assistance in all regions of Abkhazia.
