At various times, Vladimir Dzhamalovich worked under the Komsomol in various parties, headed the information department of the regional committee of the Abkhaz ASSR, secretary of the Tkuarchal city committee. Three times he was elected a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Abkhaz ASSR. For more than twenty years he worked as a plenipotentiary representative in the Republic of Turkey, endowed with the highest diplomatic rank. Vladimir Dzhamalovich showed himself to be a responsible person and was highly respected. Dzhamalovich made an invaluable contribution to the return of our compatriots to their historical homeland. From small to large, he became a native person for our compatriots. “The first first president of Abkhazia, Vladislav Ardzinba, sent me to Turkey for one year. We perfectly understood that I would stay there longer. We have been in contact with our compatriots in Turkey since the 1960s. Many of those with whom we kept in touch had gone to another world by the time I got to Turkey. It is necessary to resettle our young compatriots to their historical homeland, to train them here, to bring up the Abkhaz culture in them ”- Vladimir Dzhamalovich in one of his speeches. Vladimir Dzhamalovich was born in the village of Verkhnyaya Eshera, Sukhum region. He died on July 20, 2020. His brighter life will forever remain on the pages of the history of Abkhazia.
