Adviser to the President of the Republic of Abkhazia Adzhindzhal Rismag, as well as public figure Astamur Paptsaa and writer Dmitry Gabelia were directly involved in the preparatory activities for the creation of the Center. Iskhak-Sadik Kaimaz (Kushkha) is working on a business model that will be able to recoup the cost of maintaining the Center. They signed a contract for the lease of premises for the Center, which will operate an art gallery. Iskhak-Sadyk Kaimaz uses all his possibilities in the cultural community of Helsinki to promote and bring to self-sufficiency the private art gallery he creates and the Abkhaz Cultural Center.
In 2021, the Center carried out the following activities:
- a department of Abkhaz and Adyghe books was created in the central library of Helsinki;
– preliminary consultations were held with the Ministry of Education of Finland on the creation of conditions for the study of the Abkhaz and Adyghe languages for Adyghe and Abkhaz families from Syria;
- two exhibitions about Abkhazia were held in the central library of Helsinki and in the gallery;
- in agreement with the municipal authorities of Helsinki, two rallies-exhibitions were held, the purpose of which was to draw attention to the recognition of the Republic of Abkhazia by the international community;
– preliminary negotiations were held on further joint work with the main music university in Finland and one of the largest universities in Europe with the Sibelius Academy;
– in the art magazine “Kumposti” of the Helsinki microdistrict Kumpula, an article was published about the activities of Ishak-Sadyk Kaimaz and the work of the Center he created.
In addition to the above, Iskhak-Sadyk Duganovich made the legal entry of a car with an Abkhazian license plate into Europe! He left the Republic of Abkhazia in his own car, drove it through the Russian Federation and drove it into the Republic of Finland. For the first time, a European exit stamp was included in the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Abkhazia and it was used as an official document at the Finnish border.
